When projects or scripts appear to be misplaced, it's most often due to a few common reasons. Let's go through them:
1. User has multiple accounts or has accidentally created a new account
Check the account email address in your Studio Profile. If you're not in the right account, log out (click on the menu in the upper-right corner and select 'Logout'). You can now log in again with the correct email address. |
2. User was collaborating with another Celtx user and was removed from the project
Contact the previous collaborator and request that they re-invite you to the project. > You can read more about sharing and collaborating here. |
3. The project was accidentally deleted
Click 'Trash' on the lefthand sidebar in your Studio. If the project is there, select it and click the 'Restore' option that will appear at the top. Please note, projects that have been permanently deleted from the trash cannot be recovered. > Read more about deleting and restoring projects here. |
4. User is looking for a standalone script, stored in the project 'Files' section
If the script was created years ago, as a secondary script within one of your projects, check the 'Files' section in the project navigation menu, where these type of scripts are now stored. > Read more about your project Files here. |
